My List of 101 tasks to be done, in no particular order, between the date of Monday, April 12, 2010 and Monday, January, 2013. This is 1001 days; apx 2.75 years or 33 months or 143 weeks.

The Mission: Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria: Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).

Goals are not listed in order to be completed.

Daily Goals
Missing days for things like illnesses or travel are fine, but must be accounted for in the weekly update. If more than 1/5 of the days are missed, the goal will be considered failed, no matter what the reason is.

  1. Drink at least 2 liters of water every day (0/1001)
  2. Update Blog every day (0/1001)
  3. Draw or paint something every day – doodles don't count (0/1001)
  4. Take one photograph a day (0/1001)
  5. Start taking a daily vitamin (and actually take it!) (/1001)
  6. Log into Critique Circle at least once a day and do something (crit a story, chat in the forums, do an exercise/prompt, submit something, etc.) (0/1001)

Weekly Goals
Missing weeks for things like illnesses or travel are fine, but must be accounted for in the weekly update. If more than 1/5 of the weeks are missed, the goal will be considered failed, no matter what the reason is.

  1. At least 30 min. of Yoga 3 times a week (0/143)
  2. Attend class at least 3 times a week (0/143)
  3. Attend self-defense class every week (0/143)
  4. Go to the gym at least 4 times a week - need membership first. (0/143)
  5. Cook something from an actual recipe once a week (0/143)
  6. Only pay for fast food 2 times a week or less(0/143)
  7. Call my Dad once a week. (0/143)
  8. Write at least 1,000 words of fiction a week (0/143)
  9. Work on website at least once a week (0/143)
  10. Post an update on my progress once a week (on Sundays). Updates will include a written description of goals accomplished and in progress as well as photographic evidence when possible and/or applicable (0/143)

  1. Completely clean my whole apartment once a month (not just neaten, but seriously clean – including the use of harsh chemicals, vacuuming, dusting, scrubbing, windows, sorting through old things, etc.) (0/33)
  2. Put $25 a month into savings – no touching unless life or death! (Will increase to $100 after June, 2010) (0/33)
  3. Completely clean my car (throw away trash, vacuum, wash, wax) once a month (0/33)

  5. Visit the Smithsonian
  6. Read 60 classical books (from the list below) over the duration (0/60)
  7. Watch either The Daily Show or The Colbert Report being taped live
  8. Attend a music festival
  9. Attend a film festival

Humanitarian Goals

  1. Sort through and donate all clothing that does not currently fit.
  2. Volunteer for Habitat for Humanity
  3. Pay for someone else 3 times at the drive-through or toll-way (0/3)
  4. Join Big Brothers and Big Sisters and become a big sister
  5. Use reusable bags whenever I shop (if possible)
  6. Volunteer at a local event
